DREAMS & DESIRES
The
studies of Dr. Abdul Kalam shows that dream is not what we see during our sleep, it is something different that does not let us sleep. We
often heard somewhere that in order to succeed, the craving for success ought
to be more prominent than the dread of disappointment. Now a day’s where
everybody has a dream. Students also continuously hear that life is about
living one’s desires and dreams. I think it is the main point where the problem
actually existed. Sometimes we link desire with dreams and also confused between
them. Parents expect from their children to be successful and then pressurize
their children with expectations that are filled with parental unsuccessful
desires. And they completely ignored their children’s dreams. Children begin to
dream about their parental desires. My opinion is that true education teaches
the understudies to differentiate between desires and dreams. Qualified
institutes and teachers open the eyes of their children about the injustice
they do with themselves. Experienced teaches their children that desire is like
a craving for something and dreams is like hunger (a basic necessity to live).
Craving for food may change at any time and will never fully satisfy. A craving
can replace any time, but a dream is like a hunger that cannot be filled without
proper nutrition.
CONCLUSIONS:
At
the end of these studies, it can conclude that the main difference between
dream and desire is that the dream is what we make for a group, and desire is
what we build for ourselves. Good schools and homes should not any confusion
about the difference between desires and dreams.
