Doping In Sports
Illegal Drugs that takes in order to increase and enhance the individual’s performance are called doping in sports. These drugs increased the number of proteins in cells especially in muscles of the athlete.
The medicine’s which is used for increasing the sports performance is unsafe, unofficial and illegal that’ why these drugs are banned from Government. It can be harmful for athlete’s health. Doping is as old as Sports but now a days, this problem has grown more advanced. Use of power enhancement drugs can be very harmful for health. Doping in sports is not a new happening; Athletes have taken these drugs since the beginning of sports. History of boosting sporting abilities goes back to the Greece, who used special kind of diets and performance enhancing substance to improve their sporting abilities. The first Doping death happened in 1886 in cycling. Performance enhancing drugs is a type of dishonesty with sports rules.

Blood Doping:
Blood Doping is systematically defined by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency). Blood Doping is an Illegal way of improving athletic activity. It can Increases the endurance of athlete. But on the other side it also has some side effects.
·        Headache
·        Fever
·        Stroke Infection
·        Increased blood viscosity (thickness),-- Heart Attack
·        Risk of hepatitis C,B and HIV
·        Increased blood pressure/hypertension
·        Vasoconstriction
·        Kidney damage
·        Impaired oxygen delivery to tissues
·        Chest Pain
·        Shortness of breath
·        Swelling of the face, fingers
·        Weight gain
·        Hair growth on face

Mechanism:
·        In this mechanism, few months before the competition athlete remove his own blood from his body and stored it.
·        Next week, the body naturally replaced the removed blood.
·        Just before competition, Frozen blood injected back into the athlete. This type of doping is called autologous blood doping. On the other hand, If athletes injected fresh blood in their body that removed from another person straight into the athletes body. This type of doping is called Homologous doping.
Major Reasons:
There are several major reasons of these drugs banned.
·        Drugs are banned because it creates many health issues, it can badly effects on human health. For example, Capillaries may become damaged due to overflowing of extra blood and have to work harder in human body. Kidneys and Cardiovascular system may also become damaged due to extra blood.
·        Use of drugs in sports is a cheating with rules. If these drugs are not risky for human health but it’s really risky for other team members, because these drugs may provide performance advantage to the drug user.
·       One more reason for these drugs banned because athletes use them as illegal that are against the rules of our society.
Conclusions:
 At the end, the studies of drugs in sports may shows that there are a number of drugs that are using by sports persons, it’s a big challenge for control them and fight against the war of doping. Anyhow it’s our responsibility to fight this prevailing virus.
